StoryWalk® - enjoy an outdoor stroll and a fun story!
With great excitement we announce the completion of Keokuk's new Library Park which includes outdoor reading spaces, a story walk, places for the community to gather, and free wi-fi throughout the park!

Updating and re-imagining a plan initially conceived fifteen years ago, the KPL Foundation worked with Massie+Massie Architects to develop a unique Library Park which includes:

-
a reading and sculpture garden
-
a plaza area with seating and mobile device charging stations
-
a small performance and outdoor classroom space with permanent seating
-
gardens with native Iowa plants

The Library Park was constructed using environmental best practices, including water run-off designs and solar power. Special gardens highlight native Iowa plants and flowers, and local species of trees have been planted and cultivated.
We invite you to visit our Library Park, which is fully endorsed by the library's trustees. While the park is now complete, you can help us to maintain and continue to update the park through your donations, both big and small.

Fill out this donation form and send it to the Keokuk Public Library Foundation. Contact the library director with any questions. Memorial donations are welcomed.
